Privacy Policy — PrimusTrader

PrimusTrader is self-hosted software. It runs entirely on your own computer or server — not on ours. This Privacy Policy explains the limited information Zimmerman Holdings (“we”, “us”) receives when you buy PrimusTrader, and the data that stays on your own machine and never reaches us.

Your trading data never leaves your machine. Your broker and exchange API keys, your trades, positions, balances, strategy settings, and bot logs are stored locally on the device where you run PrimusTrader. We have no access to them and never receive them.

1.Information We Receive

The only personal information we receive relates to your purchase:

Your name and email address, collected at checkout by our payment processor so we can deliver your license key and provide support;
The license key we issue to you, associated with your purchase;
Any information you choose to send us directly, for example when you email us for support.

We do not collect or store your payment-card details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment processor (see below).

2.Data That Stays On Your Machine

Because PrimusTrader is self-hosted, the following data is created and stored locally on your own computer or VPS and is never transmitted to us:

your brokerage and exchange API keys and secrets (encrypted at rest on your machine);
your trades, orders, positions, balances, and profit/loss history;
your strategy configurations, risk settings, and alerts;
your application database and log files.

Securing the device and database where you run PrimusTrader is your responsibility.

3.Payment Processor

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles checkout, payment, and billing. When you buy PrimusTrader, your payment information is provided directly to Lemon Squeezy and is governed by their privacy policy. We receive only the order details needed to fulfil your purchase (such as your name, email, and order reference).

4.Third-Party Services You Connect

When you connect PrimusTrader to brokers, exchanges, or optional AI providers, the Software communicates with those services directly from your machine using credentials you supply. Those interactions are governed by each provider’s own privacy policy and terms. We are not a party to that data exchange.

5.Cookies & Analytics

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics to profile visitors on this site. The PrimusTrader application you run locally does not send usage analytics back to us.

6.How We Use Your Information

We use the limited purchase information we receive only to:

deliver your license key and download access;
verify and support your license;
respond to your support requests;
meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

7.Data Retention

We retain purchase and license records for as long as needed to support your lifetime license and to comply with legal and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your purchase contact information, subject to records we are required to keep.

8.Your Choices

You may contact us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about your purchase. Because your trading data lives only on your own machine, you control it entirely — you can delete the local database at any time.

9.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
